The Hermit and What We Hear When Everyone Gets Quiet
About this Session
Note: This is an audio only Space. Cameras off please.
It's hard to know which voice is ours when we've spent so much time listening to everyone else’s.
The Hermit is a card of solitude, reflection, and turning inward for guidance. Distance from everyone else’s opinions can make it easier to hear what you actually think.
Most of us know what it’s like to second-guess ourselves. We ask friends. We ask family. We look for reassurance and external validation. We keep asking until somebody gives us an answer that feels right.
This Session asks what might happen if we sit with our own answer before asking anyone else. What do we already know that we keep looking for someone else to confirm?
You don’t need to know anything about Tarot to join. Just come curious.
About this Space
The Tarot has a lot to say about being human.
The Fool steps into the unknown. The Devil keeps us tethered. The Hanged Man asks us to surrender. The Hermit steps away from the noise.
For centuries, these cards have represented forces we keep encountering in our lives: power. Desire. Control. Attachment. Procrastination. Change. Solitude. Surrender. Risk. The parts of ourselves that behave beautifully, badly, irrationally, courageously, and sometimes with absolutely zero chill.
In this personal growth Space, we’ll use the Major Arcana as mirrors for our own lives. Each Session begins with one card and opens into the questions underneath it:
When do I continue to do things that are hurting me?
What’s keeping me from starting something I value?
Where does my need for control help me, and where does it get in my way?
What am I being asked to stop forcing?
What can I hear about myself when I step away from everyone else’s expectations?
What patterns keep showing up, and what might they be asking me to learn?
Who is this Space for?
Anyone who wants to understand themselves more deeply, notice the patterns shaping their choices, and bring what they discover in our Sessions into everyday life.
This is not a tarot reading or a class on how to read cards.
\You don’t need to know anything about tarot to join. We’ll use these old archetypes as prompts for self-reflection and self-discovery, exploring our choices, patterns, and the ways we might grow through the parts of life we cannot completely control.
