About this Space
Self-sabotage can become so familiar that the guilt and shame we feel from shooting ourselves in the foot can almost feel sweet.
Ruining our goals and dreams becomes routine and, in a way, easier to cope with than the discomfort of growth. This all happens unconsciously, of course, shaped by patterns we learned as children.
No wonder it’s so hard to kick the habit.
Lucky for us, others have successfully broken the cycle of self-sabotage. By becoming more self-aware, identifying our core values, and practicing self-compassion, we too can break the cycle.
Our 6-week series on self-sabotage invites our imagination, curiosity, and childlike sense of wonder to explore questions we’ve never thought to ask ourselves before.
From recognizing self-sabotaging behaviors to understanding their roots in childhood, each session will take us deeper into the “why” behind our actions.
- Week 1: Understanding Our Patterns
- Week 2: Childhood Influences
- Week 3: Triggers
- Week 4: Core Values
- Week 5: Self-Compassion and Forgiveness
- Week 6: Building New Patterns
We will be meeting Wednesdays for an hour over 6 weeks. Please join only if you can commit to at least 3 weeks. Seats are limited, reserve your seat while you can!
Breaking free from self-sabotage is undoubtedly a challenging journey. While it may take longer than six weeks, our series is a safe, supportive space where we can start making lasting changes together.
