About this Session
A lot of men are good at knowing what's expected of them.
The job, the role, the version of success that makes sense to the people around them. What's often harder to name is what they actually want, separate from what the hand they were dealt, what they learned to perform, or what they settled into before they thought to question if it was the right fit.
Some of that is honest ambition that got redirected, but some of it is desire that never felt safe to say out loud. Many of us feel the low hum of wanting something different without being able to say what.
This session is a chance to slow down and sit with that question without the pressure to have it figured out. What do you want in your relationships? In your work? In your daily life? Not what you're aiming for because someone taught you to aim there, but what actually matters to you when you're being honest with yourself.
That's a deceptively hard question for a lot of us. This is a space to find out why.
About this Space
This is a Space for men to speak honestly about their inner lives, without needing to perform, fix, or prove anything.
In a world where expectations around masculinity are shifting, many of us are left sorting through conflicting messages about who we’re supposed to be. Balancing projecting strength and vulnerability, aspiring to independence while yearning for connection; our frameworks for male identity don’t always mesh easily. And for a lot of men, there aren’t many places where that tension can be explored out loud.
This group offers a place to slow down and reflect in the company of others who are interested in sitting with complex questions related to the male and masculine-presenting zones of the gender spectrum. Together we’ll explore identity, relationships and emotional life. We aspire to take thorough inventory of the stories we've inherited about what it means to be a man.
There’s no pressure to have it all figured out—just an invitation to be real, in whatever way feels right to you.
