The Fear of Being Too Much

Love & Other Emotions
Starting Sep 08, 2026 8PM UTC

About this Session

Have you ever worried that your feelings, needs, personality, or love might be too much for someone else? Sometimes the fear of losing connection can teach us to quiet ourselves, ask for less, or make certain parts of who we are easier to hold.

In this Session, we’ll explore the ways we shrink ourselves to feel accepted and what we’re afraid might happen if we stop. Together, we’ll reflect on what it means to take up space in our relationships and experience connection without constantly editing ourselves.

About this Space

Emotions Are Meant to Be Felt, Together

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to love and emotions. Whether you're healing from heartbreak, learning to trust, or redefining what love means to you, this space offers a place to process it all.

Emotions can feel overwhelming in isolation, but in community, they become shared experiences—lighter, more meaningful, even joyful. Through connection, we find not just support, but laughter, insight, and the reassurance that we’re never alone in what we feel.

What to Expect in These Spaces

  • Open, guided discussions on relationships, self-love, and emotional resilience
  • Community-driven support to help process love, loss, and connection
  • Storytelling and shared experiences to navigate complex emotions together

Topics We Explore

  • Navigating Love & Relationships
  • Processing Heartbreak & Loss
  • Self-Love & Worth
  • Emotional Barriers & Vulnerability
  • Understanding Attraction & Connection
  • Familial Relationships & Boundaries
  • Sexual Intimacy & Emotional Closeness
  • Expressing and Receiving Love

We try to tame emotions, to categorize them, to rank them from pleasant to unbearable. But they do not ask for labels. They only ask to be felt.
