This Body, My Home: Self-Love During the Holidays
About this Session
The holidays can stir up a mix of feelings about our bodies. This Space invites you to step away from comparison, soften the pressure to look or perform a certain way, and reconnect with the body you live in. Together, we explore how social media, food traditions, and family dynamics shape the way we see ourselves this time of year, and what it might feel like to meet our bodies with compassion instead of critique.
In this session, we will explore questions like:
- What is your relationship like with your body today, and how has that shifted as you have aged?
We hope you leave this Space feeling more at ease in yourself, more connected to your experience, and more at home in the body that carries you through every season.
This is it: This body is home. This is where I live and hang my hat. This is where I settle into my hips and sit easy in myself, slung together with strong muscles and bones, made gentle and forging with flesh. This body is durable, has lasted for years, hunkered down through fierce storms and allows for the peaceful erosions of age. It is like a cottage on the shore: weathered and well made, a place where a person could comfortably live. I like it here. It is my own.

Emotions Are Meant to Be Felt, Together
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to love and emotions. Whether you're healing from heartbreak, learning to trust, or redefining what love means to you, this space offers a place to process it all.
