The Ache to Be Understood
About this Session
We all know the ache.
The moment someone gets it completely wrong. The times you’ve had to explain yourself—again. Or the quiet grief of never getting the chance.
This Space is inspired by Pride Month and centers the emotional labor of being known. It honors queer and trans stories, while also welcoming anyone who has felt misread, erased, or invisible in their truth.
We’ll reflect on:
- What does “being understood” mean to you?
This isn’t about fixing the ache.
It’s about making space for it.
It’s about recognizing that being truly seen is not a luxury—it’s a human need.
I will not stay, not ever again—in a room or conversation or relationship or institution that requires me to abandon myself.
— Glennon Doyle, Untamed
About this Space
Emotions Are Meant to Be Felt—Together
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to love and emotions. Whether you're healing from heartbreak, learning to trust, or redefining what love means to you, this space offers a place to process it all.
Emotions can feel overwhelming in isolation, but in community, they become shared experiences—lighter, more meaningful, even joyful. Through connection, we find not just support, but laughter, insight, and the reassurance that we’re never alone in what we feel.
