Thriving in Motherhood

Circles for Momma's

About this Session

Mother's Day Celebration

This Thursday is all about us! We will be celebrating you, me, each other and our Momma's!! We know that Mother's Day is hard for some of us. Some of us may not have partners to celebrate with, some of us may have said goodbye to our Momma's or maybe our Momma's just live far away. This is a space where we can mourn those heartaches, celebrate one another and share in community together.

Feel free to bring a glass of wine, a mocktail or something chocolaty. This is a celebration for you! Let's feel some feels, but let's have some fun while we do it!

"Sometimes when you pick up your child you can feel the map of your own bones beneath your hands, or smell the scent of your skin in the nape of his neck. This is the most extraordinary thing about motherhood - finding a piece of yourself separate and apart that all the same you could not live without."

Jodi Picoult, Perfect Match

About this Circle

Life is Loud!

Come to a space where you will be heard.

Shy? Scared? Anti-social? We are too! Let us move through those discomforts together! If you have never tried a Circle or support group before this may feel a little scary. To ease some of that anxiety we have prepared a few questions for you so you have an idea of the sort of things we will discuss:

  • As a parent, if you could have one super ability what would it be?

  • Tell us about a time as a parent you felt outside of your integrity?

  • If you could give one piece of advice to a new parent what would it be?

Many of the Momma’s in these Circles are caring for younger children, but all Momma’s are welcome here! These Circles give us an opportunity to know and be known and there is value in all of our experiences. We meet digitally and bi-weekly. There is no commitment. This is a safe space to come as you can and as you are. We harbor a nurturing environment for nursing, crying and care-giving parents.

We understand carving out time for ourselves can be a logistical challenge, so kiddos are welcome! We just ask that you keep yourself on mute when you are not speaking. We cannot wait to share community with you and learn from all your strengths and challenges. We are better together!

"The human heart was not designed to beat outside the human body and yet, each child represented just that - a parent's heart bared, beating forever outside its chest."
